Meeting All Demands
Design Windows Nelson won the Residential Under $15,000 Award in the Window Association of New Zealand’s Design Flair Awards, held in June 2011. The Harte House in Nelson was the winning project. “This was a unique request due to the shape of the conservatory,” said Design Windows Nelson. “This tested both the fabricator and installer to ensure the performance and appearance fitted into the design brief the owners wanted. The overall appearance enhances the house and still enables the owners to use the area to enjoy the fantastic view.”

The team met the client’s unusual demands. “Although not a standard type of conservatory, Design Windows worked with the owner’s plans to achieve a conservatory to meet all the requirements,” says Hugh Askin, Sales Manager from Jennian Homes.

As a member of the Window Association of New Zealand, all the windows and doors supplied by Design Windows Nelson are independently type tested to comply with the relevant New Zealand performance Standards and New Zealand Building Code requirements. 

Because Windows, Doors and Glazing are individually engineered in accordance with these standards for each building site location throughout New Zealand, customers are well satisfied with the performance of products supplied by members of the Window Association of New Zealand Inc.
